Description
The NSSAR Knight Essay Contest is open to all high school juniors and seniors who are United States citizens or legal residents. To be considered for this award, you must enter this contest through a local NSSAR Chapter. The contest consists of writing a 750- to 1,000-word original research paper in English. The topic of the essay shall deal with: an event, person, philosophy, or ideal associated with the American Revolution, the Declaration of Independence, or the framing of the United States Constitution. The research paper will be judged on historical accuracy, clarity of thought, organization, grammar, spelling and documentation.

The UNA-USA National High School Essay Contest is open to students in grades 9-12. You must submit an essay of 1,500 words or less on which aspect of UN reform is most important and explain how it should be addressed.
