Walmart Scholarship the research program addresses the key challenges in achieving the level of the signal processing circuit for ultra-fast multi-Tb / s class solutions.This THz research is integrated a soon-to-be start-Smart Light Dutch project to the next generation of photonic integrated circuits for interconnection networks and signal processing. The Walmart Scholarship role of the PhD student will focus on aspects of design, manufacturing and clean room technology assessment.
The Walmart Scholarship candidate must have a master's degree in science or engineering or similar degree with an academic level equivalent to a Master of Engineering. The candidate should have sound experience in:
• Physics of Semiconductors
• Electronics
• Photonics
It is Walmart Scholarship an advantage if the candidate has experience with:
• Treatment of cleanroom
• Design of optoelectronic circuits
• Computer programming and computer aided design
• Measurement
